The GTA 5 Online Biker DLC has been the most recent injection of new content into the popular multiplayer mode, providing new ways to make money, and new rides to enjoy.
The final piece of that content appears to be arriving next week, although a Biker DLC part 2 could also be in the works.
Tuesday, November 22 will see the launch of the Youga Classic, which design is based on the real-life Ford Econoline series.
But what is set to follow the latest content drop from Rockstar Games?
Well, dataminers have discovered that a followup to the Biker DLC could arrive in December. It will reportedly include the usual holiday gear, as well as content that has been teased in the past by Rockstar but has yet to be given an official announcement.
This includes a new car selling feature which has been found by dataminers but has yet to be put into the game.
It could also be introduced alongside the Kill Quota Adversary Mode, although Rockstar may be saving that for later in their launch cycle.
It had been rumoured that Rockstar planned to end their supply of Grand Theft Auto 5 support in Spring 2017, however a new report suggests a big announcement is being planned.
For a long time, fans have been told that Rockstar Games have put aside their plans for any new story DLC.
It came as a surprise to many, what with the impressive install base and the widespread of platforms the game was launched for.
However, according to one reliable online source, Rockstar may be thinking about reviving their original plans.
“As we kinda guessed with the few things that were found about it in the files a while ago, mostly by Fun, they already had quite a lot of work done before they "scrapped" it,” GTA 5 commenter Yann2295 confirmed.
“I was told it is 60-70% complete - mo cap, tech animations and voiceover are done. Basically the biggest part of the job is done, completing it would not be that hard.
“Supporting GTA V with a DLC after RDR2 could also mean they will keep supporting GTA Online at least until this DLC comes out, in my opinion.
“That goes against the info I had a while back saying that they were planning to end the GTA Online updates around Spring 2017, but them changing their minds is not a very surprising thing.
“As always, that's just what I heard, it doesn't mean it's all spot on or correct, and as I said above, Rockstar love changing their minds, but I thought it would be interesting to share.”
It would be astounding if Rockstar did follow through with these plans and release story DLC for GTA 5 in 2018.
The originally launched in 2013 but as recent data has shown, new players continue to buy copies while GTA 5 Online grows from strength-to-strength
